Pilates
Pilates is unique in that it teaches the body flexibility and mobility in a safe, supportive, and methodical way. The six basic principles of Pilates—concentration, control, centering, flow, precision, and breathing—not only help us move efficiently on the apparatus but also enhance the way we move through daily life.
Pilates is for all ages and skill levels. In each session, I challenge my clients’ brains and bodies through simple choreography that incorporates opposition, coordination, and full-body integration. This approach helps reduce the risk of injury by improving balance and coordination, enhancing cognitive function, increasing muscle activation, boosting athletic performance, and sharpening reflexes.
